Question Did clutch. Now no electrical power!

I chacked the fuses, my voltmeter says the battery has 10 volts. No lights will come on. no ignition no nothing.

Is there something under the hood i should check?

You might want to check for power at the hot post on your starter. Also, isn't 10 volts a little low? I guess you should at least see some activity at that level even if it is a little low. I assume you cleaned the posts on the battery already. Can't think of anything else off the top of my head. Good luck!

Ignitoin switxh is a small wire that goes to a plug not a post. Ground to the frame not to the starter itself and then the pos. to the post over toward the passenger side. IIRC.

check the fuseable links , you might have burned one...

on the starter you need 2 wires.......the big one, and the black and yellow wire (starter solinoid)
