Dellorto choke pics needed

Can anyone provide me with photographs of the choke cable bracket and linkages on their DHLA48? I have a DHLA48 that doesn't have the necessary equipment to attach the choke cable to the choke lever thing, and I'm trying to figure out exactly what parts I need so I can order them from dellorto.co.uk.

Here is this what you are looking for?

I think you should be able to figure it out from these. I dont have it installed yet, so I will be able to take a pic of any side super easy for ya.

Hmmm. That helps somewhat; I'm not really sure how that attaches to the choke cable, though. From what I've gleaned, the racing beat dell kits had some kind of bracket on the firewall side of the choke lever which the end of the cable housing bolted into, and then a linkage of some kind on the other side of the choke lever. My assumption was that the choke cable was used to pull on the linkage, which reversed the direction of the tension so the lever could be pulled toward the car's nose. I've never been able to get a good look at how that was set up, because all of the Dell'Orto and Racing Beat stuff I've seen online is really fuzzy.

In your picture, MattG, I see a bracket that looks like it's designed to hold a choke cable that would be coming from the right side of your picture; on the RX-7, it has to come from the left, because of the positioning of our intake ports and the length of the choke cable. Are you sure you can hook up your choke? If you can, then I obviously don't understand how it's supposed to work.

Rotor13B, I would appreciate some photos from you too if it isn't too much trouble; the more different setups I can see, the better I'll understand. The best thing would really be to see someone elses Dell in their 7 with the choke attached; anyone in the DFW area with a Dell and the choke working? I know my profile says Austin, but I'm up in Dallas for college.

Also, why do you run without the choke attached? I've found that my car starts easily and warms up quickly when I use the choke/fast idle (by manually holding the lever in the engine compartment while someone starts the car), but when I don't use the choke it frequently takes a long time to catch, and I have to hold the throttle for several minutes until it can hold an idle. Is my jetting too lean maybe?

I dont know I have never put my carb in, but The way it is set up is from RB. If you think about the positioning of the carb it is alow more on top of the engine as to where the nikki sits on the side.

I made a video let me put it on the net.

Here this explains how it works. I read this right off the Gruntled.com and just put video to the words.

Sorry its shaky, I was hard trying to hold, point and talk all at the same time.
