New owner of an '84 S here. I know the S models didn't come with a driver's side dead pedal standard and mine didn't get the option. I've scoured EBay, googled, called my local pick and pulls, and searched through the forums here and can't find one anywhere (the pad is easy to get, it's the bracket I'm after). Does anyone know of somewhere that has the brackets, either OEM or aftermarket?

If not, would anyone be able to send me some detailed pics and maybe some measurements so I can look into getting one fabricated?

 

Do you Facebook ? there is local Fb and first generation Fb groups, lots of parts out there.

 

Back in the day I was able to source one for my 80 GS from a junkyard. Not sure why mine
was missing but its nice to have there.

It should be easy to fab one up but I bet if you put out a WTB add in the regional section and in the classifieds, someone may respond with one. Also keep an eye on part outs in the classifieds
as well.
