Dash components

Hello once again from Portland,

I'm driving an 85 gslse, freakin fantastic ride. I love this car. Anyway, I'm finding that some of the plastic dash components warp slightly as the tempurature outside increases. This produces squeaks and some rattling.

What I want to know is this...

1. What would be the best dash replacement other than the first gen dash?

2. Can I throw a second gen or third gen dash in my first gen?

3. What have some of you guys done with your interiors as far as Dash replacements?

4. Where can I find dash replacements online?

Thanks ppl.

M.

None, other than full custom.

Nope. Different body altogether.

Presently I am doing my Stereo and A/C surround in a carbon fiber material. It's still being done at the shop.

Victoria British, Ebay, etc.
By the way, I have NEVER seen a cracked 84/85 dash.
I have seen plenty of 79-83's that are cracked though. You might want to just give it a good cleaning, and replace all the broken plastic snaps. If that doesn't work, try glue or screws.
