came with the car (one of the biggest selling points) along with a nice sized doorstop of a motor and a rusted out 80 g model

How did you "Fill -In" the controls for the A/C? Bondo?

Simce you're planning to make it a Racer, it would have been a good location for gauges.

Damon, go to my little site...
http://members.cardomain.com/7heaven
scroll to the bottom of the page and you can set up your own project page here to show people your progress. By the way looks like your project has a good start! Mine is not a street car as you will see, I am just autocrossing it. Have fun!

directfreak I used the old panel as a mould and created a new one with fiberglass and assorted plastic pieces thet were lying around (the old one was severly mistreated as you can tell by the before shots) the hard part was joining the new top with the old lower section

oh and when I said street racer I ment redlight to redlight not track (Valdosta sucks no strip that I have heard of around here)

thanks for the invite 1st7heaven

update hey 1st7heaven the link wont let me in any other way to get in

Ok, try this again http://members.cardomain.com/7heaven

Hope this works!

I'm not too keen on the blue either. But that's just personal oppinion.

But at least you had good luck in painting it the colour you want, unlinke me who failed miserably with a spotty silverish colour.

thanks all you are all making me feel like it is worth doing again (I had gotten bored with it $$$$$$)

and by the way the blue is the accent color to match the air cleaner (mazda blue with a twist) but thanks for the feedback I like that everone feels free to state opinions good or bad (thats why I like this forum)

peace
