damn squeak

I seem to of acquired this annoying squeak. Its coming from the rear of the car and you hear it most when you are coming to a stop. The squeak has something to do with the speed as it slows down in speed as you do. I have jacked the rear end up and run it and heard no squeak and lubed whatever might squeak. Even putting on the brakes makes no difference. So if anyone has any other places to look let me know. Mike

might be your bearings. whatever it is won't squek unless you have pressure on it ao that would be my guess.

I was always wondering why the cats hung around the car all the time.

check to see if your muffler tips are touching the body. mine were and it took me forever to track it down.

That's what my squeak is. Muffler rubbing on the big ol' heat shield back there.
