D-Day over 3:50am Shortblock to Biggerblock?

Wow~!!!!

First of, great timing, get most of my parts (over 80 items if you include small crap lol) and college football starts... LOL, how bout them skers though? Anywho, after the Husker game I started working on putting my short block together. Im done now, just need to put some more bolts and nuts in the pressure plate to flywheel, Ill torque them in the morning.

Ok I was going to upload some pics and whatnot, but its 3:50 in the morning, not the 1:30 like I thought . Anywho, the s4 block that I bought had NOTHING on it so today was a little stressful converting parts.. not so bad though, just some flywheel washer problems and I guess the front eccentric shaft bolt is WAY different from the s3 to s4 13b... Whats up with the spring thing in the shaft on the S4?

Well I put the counterweight, flywheel, clutch, pp on... Front engine cover, oil pan, distributor, waterpump, main pulley, front engine mount, alternator, oil pickup tube, belt.. everything except for the intake, exhaust and transmission.. I'm going to put the engine in the car and later this month when I get my exhaust, ill put the intake on, it would get in the way otherwise.

If anyone is around Omaha, NE and wouldn't mind coming over, bs'ing, berrs, checking that I didn't make a stupid mistake... would be grand. I was worried about how much eccentric shaft play there was, but when I torqued down the main pulley bolt.. it was right in specs, before it moved 1/8".. The Haynes manual said to check the main pulley with the bolt torqued down, so I think that its fine... That was a good 30 minutes of, I think I need to take off my oil pump plus the other crap that the manual said.

Well I'll upload some Pics tomorrow, Im tired.. and my back is KILLING me, got in a bad accident, some staples in the head and whatnot.. Not to bad, considering. I was passenger, and it was the other cars fault...
