my car is now in storage so I have been going all out on it.

im on the tailights, there apart and the reflective part has been painted in silver for a more smooth color.

heres what Im thinking, paint a design on the lens and tint them so that they are black and when you hit the brakes or taillights a design will show up.


what should I do as a design, also I plan on doing the turn signall also and was thinking I should do something relating to direction.

what do you think.

Writing in taillgihts is ghey. Its what you see mulletmen haven em on their IROCS.

 

There is absolutely NOTHING you can do to 1st gen tails to make them better looking. They look fine the way they are.

 

I'll agree with Greg and Mike.

You could just clean them.

 

How about lettering (really small) reading
"if you can read this" left side and "get off my *** bitch!" on the right.

Better call the local PD and ask if writing on tail lights is allowed. I bet thats a a fine Think before you do something like that, as it may not be DOT legal.

i think a flaming rotor would be cool..... then some writing at the top, with vines surrounding the outer edges, and writing... I may just give somthing like that a try!!!!

I saw some cool *** taillights made by elegantebytyc.com

and i got ideas.

Im thinking I might just tint thems so one big black strip.

 

If you tint the tail lights.. get the tint paint from summitracing.com it's called nite shades this is the real stuff, not the cheap stuff you'll find at your local rice shop. it's 10 buck a pop but it's worth it. I tinted my lenses and they look clean...

Word of warning tho, as the tint dry it gets darker so don't keep spraying it on thinking it's not gonna be that dark..

I hope you're talking about some sort of tattoo on your body and that you wouldn't consider ruining a car with that....

 

What about LED's instead of bulbs? seems pretty functional to me..
