From what I have read, alot of the FI Rx7 people switch to a carb when they want performance. You should look into Weber, or the other few available carbs if you're looking for added fuel flow.
If you're only looking for an FI car.....it would probably be cheaper to find and buy a 84-85 GSL-SE, which is already FI from the factory.

For the intake setup couldn't you get the lower manifold from Racingbeat for a 12A and use the stock upper manifold off a GSL-SE, and all associated F.I. components.

Yes! The RB Dellorto lower manifold would be very good to use here. Maybe you wouldn't even need the GSL-SE intermediate plate. You could install the the injectors on the lower manifold; that way, you could keep using the tall ports of a 12A instead of the smallish ones of the GSL-SE. That's what I'd do if I was doing this type of project. Good call!
