crazy idea...

i was laying in bed the other night, daydreaming about doing donuts in my rx7 this summer and such, and i thought of something very cool.

Now i dont know if anyone has ever done it or even thought about it befor,
but do any of you guys think it would be kewl to have a T-top roof in your seven,
I really think it would just set an rx7 off, the whole nine yards, Beautiful haha..

Well tell me wat yous think, and how possible is it to do??

thx fellAS

Joe

I think it would be great, and look good too. However, you will have to come up with some way to reinforce the roof to make up for the missing metal. The tops from a 280ZX would probably fit best...Maybe even an entire transplantation of a Datsun roof....?

If you do decide to dig into this, just be sure to take lots of pics and make a writeup on it for all of us losers...

so what word officially replaced it?

and to add;
the 7 never had t tops.
the 7 cant lose.
therefore tops are "wack"
you z car lovers/7 haters ( be it unknowingly) need to chill.

lets start sawzalling the roof of a 7 so it looks like a fing z car!!

So you're opinion is the only one?

I say if you drive it, and you like the way it looks, screw other peoples opinions. Do what you want to it.

Couldn't you just do like they did with vert corvettes and use a crossing chasis brace on the underside of the car?

T-top is not my style, but hell, it's your car. So long as your happy with it.

I think the word "wack" went out when Witney Houston used it in the saying "Crack is Wack" in the early 90's. It went out with the mullet!

Wack
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search
Wack is a slang term that can mean

Lame (slang)

Good luck on your endeavors. I love solid tops more than anything else, and wish I could find a solid top GSL (if they existed).

I'm just wondering if this is just going to be like another "I'm doing a 20b thread." You know, after looking at the price for fabrication and such.....Either way, best of luck.

:)

well...as i said, im really just llooking for opinions and the possibility of the project,
I mean i think it would look unbelievable.

And you really have to admit, the chicks would really dig it haha.

but like i said ill start doing my homework as i do befor any project, and see wat happens from there. I'm not a master fabricator myself, but i know a few good ppl really good.

And yes i would hate to just tear into a classic car like that, but i mean now that i thought about doing it, ill alwaz be wondering how it would look..i would drive myself crazy, but if its to better the car, then all systems go. Just try to picture in your mind wat a sweetass 7 with t tops would look like, pritty damn sick if yah asked me haha.

anywaz fellas...
thX agin for all your input
