Crank case ventilation

can someone post pictures of the connection points on the carb for the "no rats nest" hook-up? I have the carb vent and the oil filler neck hooked up to the round black valve, but don't know where the other port on it hooks to. It has been two years since i removed rats nest and cant remember where it went.

The tube on the top of the purge valve connects to a spot on the carb under the mixture adjust screw. On Rx7Carl carbs that spot is blocked off so the top of the purge valve can be capped (as mine is)

The Big Honkin hose from the purge valve goes to the big honkin' hookup on the carb, forward and below the fuel return and also to the vent for the oil filler neck (as you described).

The other little hose on the bottom of the purge valve goes to the third spot on the carb spacer.

Hope that helped

Jon

Edit: I'll post a pic when I get home, I removed my nest on the weekend. Spent four hours studying it and figuring out how to hook everything back up the way I wanted it.

cool, hey if you cap the nipple on the top of the purge valve, how does it open up when the car is on? The valve is normaly closed when the car is off so the vent gases dont drift out of the carb, vacuum created by the motor running opens the valve and recyles the vented air thru the intake. You may not get proper ventilation with it capped on top.

i think.

I don't know!

All I know is that I haven't a place to hook it! The original place to hook it has been capped!
