Thanks, that will save me from having to buy a controller..I do need to get another laptop though since the one I was using broke..I have the worst luck EVAR!!

Keep up the work its coming together!! Hopefully i will be starting my TII swap soon but its gonna take alot more time because i have to make my SA manual ,and I am gonna have to have a lot of parts fabricated since the car is RHD. Keep up with the pics.

It's going slowly but surely..I have cut the rad supports and everything to get the IC to fit..I am mounting it a bit farther foward towards the front of the car then most people do.. I have the IC marked so I have have some brackets welded on..I am saving up for the mandrel bands for the IC, greddy BOV flange, and TB elbow..I also have the stock fan taken out and an Efan ready to go on..Haltech is currently in Au. for repair, should be back in a few weeks..Good times..

over six years later and here I am. Still have the car but have done nothing with it.. I sent the E6k to aus. and forgot about it for years.. Not sure if I even want to call them about it. Either way the engine is being built and I am looking for a new e6K box or a new ECU setup all together. I have some very experienced engine builders willing to help me out. I was THIS CLOSE to putting a 4g63 in this thing until I pushed it out of my old man's garage the other day so he could have his garage doors replaced... Any suggestions on ECU's? I am definitely doing E85 and a turbo that is capable of reaching the limits of the S4 engine.

you sent your Haltech away and forgot about it for years? wow ...

glad to hear the engine's finally getting rebuilt and you're going to complete the car. anyway, for your EMS dilemma, you need sort out your budget and also consider who it is you're going to have tuning it. if you want to stick with Haltech, i can recommend someone in northern New Jersey - roughly 2 hours from you.

Your project is looking great! stoked to see what comes

I'm looking at the Haltech Sprint RE - I know it's designed for both NA and boost applications, however it's a fuel-only system and I don't know what it's expectancy is for ignition - it may use even the stock ecu / crank angle sensor ignition system.

I'm looking at it for my fb-S5 non-turbo application, running an FB distributor.

I have a Haltech E6k that I could possibly be picking up with a TII for my swap in a week but I'm undecided on whether to run that or the Sprint RE as ioTus said. The E6k is getting old now but still is a good standalone - or so I've read - and I've seen that the RE is a good system as well.

Awesome that you just posted again because I have a list of cars and projects that are TII for my references and I will be adding this one

Another thing I was liking about the Sprint RE is it apparently has base maps for both turbo and NA applications - so you'll at least be able to drive to the dyno to have it tuned in further.

As I and ioTus said - the Haltech Sprint RE looks extremely promising, as well as the E6k seems like a tried-and-true way to go as well. Just do some more research and choose what you or your local tuner would be comfortable using
