Couple pic of custom air cleaner

Here are a couple pics of my custom air cleaner. The top is a Rotor design lid, made by RESpeed. It fits the stock air cleaner, and uses the original air filter. I modded the air cleaner base, for an "Improved" look. I also spent about an hour polishing the cover, since it is just over a year old.

Not really, but the air cleaner lid was missing when I bought the car. I have never driven the car without the new lid. I just recently modded the a/c body. It looked funny with the lower half of the filter shrouded in blue........

There were only 5 or so of that lid ever made. 10 or so of our "M" top.

We may bring them back but they will not be 100% like that one nor will the cost be the same.

I guess your part is rare

I tried to convince billy to make me one last year.... I just missed out on it.

I ended up buying the iscracing intake, but it doesn't have the cool rotor lid

If those went back into production (and they were the same diameter as the lid of the ISCRacing one) I'd be first in line to buy.

A 'new' collectable part, aren't you the lucky, special one. Hang onto that.

Possibly the rarest part in rotary history. On a car I bought for $500
Here it is last year. You can sorta see how it used to look.

Other than the air dam and hood prop, looks damn near perfect. Are those Revolution wheels? If so, what size, I have a set, 13X8 with Hoosier autocross tires tires. Haven't had much luck finding tires for it, other than racing tires.

Hood prop has been replaced. Air dam still needs attention, keep thinking about adding a real air dam.
The wheels are Ronal 15 x 7 +15 in the 4 x 110 pattern.
Not sure where to buy wide 13's.

Hard to tell with the painted centers, but they look very close to the Revolutions. I should have noticed they are taller. Even on a lowered 7, mine look like skateboard wheels, kinda funny really.

Looks good.

Just a suggestion, it's one of my personal pet peeves about my rims, next time you have your tires balanced, have them use the stick on weights on the back side of the rims. Not only do the lead weights detract appearance wise, the start a galvanic corrosions process between the lead and aluminum, eating into the rims.

^^^I agree the back side is better, but sometimes they say they need weights on both sides. Have you ever ben told that?

Oh, and nice air cleaner!

Yes I have been told that, and then took my business to another shop that had a newer, better balancer. Between the Eplsilons on the 1st gen the Voxx wheels on the 2nd gen and the KMC aluminum wheels on my dually box van, I have not one single lead weight on 16 different wheels. And trust me, there is a butt load of weights on the van rims, all stick on.

Pic as requested. 225/45/13 Hoosier Autocross tires. Before I did the widebody, car had stock ports, Mikuni and headers, I took these tires to the 1/8 mi drag strip. Had faster times with the stock tires.
