Coolant Hoses / Heater Hose Routing HELP!!!

okay, the car is a 1980, the motor is an 83-85 12a with the water oil cooler.

i need to know which hoses go where, and what the hell i'm doing.... i also have 2 thin metal hoses coming out of the bottom of my radiator, i guess i cap those?

this is teh last thing that needs to be done before i can get her running for good once the Dell and intake get here.!

The 2 small lines in the rad. are for the automatic transmission, plug or not shouldn't matter. Are you eliminating the oil cooler at the bottom of the radiator?? Where the hoses (water) go depends on whether you keep the "water / oil" cooler.

okay, so i plug the 2 lines on the rad, done...

and for now i have to keep the water/oil cooler... as much as it sucks, sooner or later i'll get a real oil cooler and lines and install them.

so knowing that, there's and inlet and outlet on the oil cooler right? there's also an inlet and outlet on the heater core.... what to do with what. Looking from the front of the car, the left heater core line goes to the lower radiatior hose, and the right one goes over to a little thing with a screw on cap, and that resides about 2" away from one of the inlet/outlet on the oil cooler (right in line, would take 2 seconds to connect those 2) and then i assume there is another place to connect something on the oil cooler, i thought i saw it, but havent seen it since.... if indeed it does exist, where the **** does it go?

About 6 inches or so UNDER the "cooler" is a line coming out of the block. It is a single tube or a "T" tube depending on the year engine.
Still confused though,,,,,don't you already have a oil cooler under the rad. in that car?? or are you piecing this together??

when i got the car there was no motor, and there was a radiatior, but not the oil cooler, so there is no oil cooler where there should be

now its just like an 83-85 12a should be.

so the other line from the oil cooler would go to that fitting on the block?

I did that radiator hose replacement on my 83 12A this summer, and the ONLY way I could get it together right was to get the pre-shaped rad hoses from mazda. Even then it's a bear to fish the damn things in and turn the screws, etc.

Pardon me, that was the pre-shaped HEATER hoses that I needed to fit things together right.
