clogged cat ?

hey, just got a pretty sweet 85 gs, runs great cept when it gets hot
after about an hour and a half driving it, it feels like the fuel pump is cutting out, theres no throttle at all, just jutters alot, but when i let of and coast for a while and go again its fine for a while, my passner seat racks get pretty damn hot too, and under them ticks, i would guess the cats are clogged, but i really donno, anyway let me know your opinions

CLOGGED CAT IS A GOOD POSSIBLITY BUT IF I WERE YOU I WOULD CHECK YOUR FUEL FILTER...I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ON MY 83 GS AND I PUT A NEW FUEL FILTER IN AND THE CAR RAN 70% BETTER... GOOD LUCK.

Does it run real quiet? Barely anything coming out the exhaust tip? Does the cat glow red when fully warmed up?
