clock, lighter, dome light circuit not working

my 79 sa clock, lighter and dome light are not working. looking at the schematic, they are all on the same circuit/fuse. I'm getting power thru the fuse ok, but having trouble tracing the wires involved from there. what would be my next move?

You’re positive you’re getting 12v on both sides of the fuse?
I ran into this exact thing on my SA. Fuse Chechen good with a DVM, but opened when 12v applied.
Try another fuse just for the heck of it, otherwise check to make sure cluster plugs all secure.

so, yeah I finally checked the fuse (again) and the is 12v on both sides of the fuse, so that's not it. can't see anything behind the dash, I guess I need to pull the AC ducting to get at the back of the cluster maybe. I'm underwhelmed at the lack of responses here. not sure what's up with that

Check for 12V at the dome light. make sure the switch is on. Also checked the ensure the ground is good.

Best process is to check the circuit based on the wiring diagram. Kind of hard to troubleshoot over the internet.

yes, thanks I understand that, I was asking for procedures, I wasn't thinking anyone would troubleshoot over the internet.
Dome light is mysteriously working now, clock and lighter still dead, but pages 194, 195 196 of the haynes manual have helpful schematics and loom diagrams
