nice try. Instead, hit "post reply" and "attach image".

Then locate it on your hard drive. I'll do the rest.

I'm doing my clear tail lights tonite. I'll post pics, dont worry guys!! :-D!!

I'm also in the process of detailing my engine, which i will post progress pics too.

Peace

Geoff

yep red and yellow,,went to performance store for the bulbs,,can u believe they wanted 4 bucks each,,,no way,,went to NAPA auto parts store and got the yellow bulbs for 1.69 each, and just spray painted the brake lite bulbs with 3 coats of red spray,,,damm paint will do over 100 bulbs for the cost of one bulb at $4 each, and if the paint flakes off i can just touch em up...i dont drive at night much,,so the red should hold up awile,,,

Mine were $5 a pair of 1157 red bulbs from APC at napa, and 2.25 for 1157 pair of amber bulbs at schucks...

Your napa sucks!

I know there have been some write ups on how to do it, but I've also noticed each person had a different experince with them. Details Donna, details!

Seperate the lens cover from the rest of the light and pull the colored sleeves out.

Yeah no shet shirlock :-D jk

How i did it, well it ws already starting to come off, so i took a narrow putty knife, and slid it between the two, VERY VERY VERY carefully. It popped off in sections, and eventually i got the whole thing off.

I'll hopefully have pics by tomorrow.

Peace

Geoff

You have to be really really careful with the clear lens. I broke one into about fifty ten pieces trying to get a good lens off a broken housing.

My taillight still has a hole in it
