Check it, my first 7 - pics
Hey all, I've been hanging around this board for about a month now, and i finally got my car on the road. It's a 82 that I brought from a friend. It already had al flywheel, konis panasport, lsd, and 4 wheel disk. Over the last three weeks, I installed a rebuilt short block from autonomic performance with some help, new clutch, new rear tires, plugs and coolent and stuff. My problem right now is that I failed smog (gross polluter infact), but I ordered a new bonez cat, and hopefully get that problem resolved.
To be done still to this car are -
eibach springs (i'm riding on almost bumpstops right now)
rb catback
bonez cat
rear end and tranny lube
steering box adjustment
check front end bushings
repaint some of the trims
fix the one major dent
cusco front strut tower brace
s5 tII alt upgrade
and fc direct fire ignition
anyway, i'm so excited that I just want to share! Here are some pics
oops, I just realized I don't have a place to host pics, pics will be up later today I guess.

I don't think yahoo allows file sharing, so it's a copy and paste deal, sorry!

The evolution of a year, not that anyone would really care, but just a year (and a month) later status update... It's funny looking back, because almost none of the stuff on my originally list is what's on the car, a lot of the parts have come and gone, i had the eibachs on there, but they came off to make room for my camber plates/coilovers/400lb front and 175 rear springs, the fc direct fire set up evolved to a setup with the Transistor trick, and it came off again to make room for the msd 6al setup i have sitting in my room. Also have isc front control arms with delrin bushings, 13" extra race wheels with v710 tires, a recaro srd driver's seat waiting to go in, weigh reduction by removal of ac, cruise control, and the warm start assist module. battery has been relocated to behind the passenger bin... this is turning into a serious race car... got the rb header and rear section and the car dynoed at 105hp at the wheels. My codriver and I started about 8 seconds behind the miatas in the local region csp class about 10-15 events ago, we (at least my codriver is anyway) only a couple seconds behind them now (we have some seriously fast miatas).
The next mods at this point are-
sterling carb (already have the fuel pump and fpr in my room)
cusco strut brace (the one thing that is still on the list)
maybe a autopower 4point rollbar
some 13x8 wheels
isc rear height adjusters
and now a pic of the car in action (with my codriver driving)
