Cheap wheels/tires!

Found a set of wheels and tires from a 95 Infiniti G20. The wheels are 4 lug, and 14". They have same lug spacing as the 83 LE I am going to put them on, IF I use them. Depends on whether they will fit and ride correctly, and if they look better than the LE wheels on my ride.

The tires are what I am REALLY buying this for. There are four fairly new Yokohama s306 205/60/14's on them.

Will these tires mount to my stock LE 14" wheels? Will they handle OK on the car?

Might mention I am paying 20 BUCKS, for all wheels and the tires!!

I'm fairly sure the tires will fit OK on your original wheels. I don't have any idea if the new wheel will fit, but at the price you're mentioning, who cares? Even if none of the stuff fit, I'd buy them and re-sell for extra bucks.

If those wheels fit, you can't have 4x110...

Hmm.....

Notice the LE part. He's very fortunate to have it.

Put them on the 83 LE today. Nope... Like the LE wheels beter... HOWEVER, the tires will mount, and turned out to have about 80% of the tread on them... Wow 4 Yokohama S306 tires for $20. Whatta bargain!

So did I.

Sure it's an LE? Or at least, still has the LE suspension? (In other wordes, has it been converted to GSL-SE axles)

yep. and let me clarify. I was far to lazy this weekend to unbolt each wheel and replace them with these. What I did is put them up against the existing wheels and blocked them in place so I could get a look.

BUT, you bring up an interesting point. When I yank the engine/tranny/rear end/axles out of my 85 GSL to put under my 83 LE, will the LE rims still fit the rear axles, or will I have to do something to make them fit? I really like the LE rims... :-)

Anyone want to buy some G20 rims w/o tires?

Yes the LE rims will still fit. ALL 12A RX-7s (S, GS, GSL, GX, LE) sold in North America have the 4x110 bolt pattern. Those G20 rims have a 4x114.3 pattern, the same as the GSL-SE. So no, the rims would NOT have fit the car. Congrats on the tires though. Sounds like a great deal!
