i assume you want to go faster? remove weight..search for weight.

get a K&N air filter they are around 40$ it helped me a little

make sure everything is tuned up

remove ps, a/c and power fan if you don't want any of them they are just taking away hp and adding weight.

people will tell you to remove emmisions and air pump, but i don't recommend it.

no clue about the rim

Good luck

100 bucks is fairly limiting HP wise.

Fun stuff wise you might want to look into:
Nikki Carb mod write up from Sterling
Ghetto cold air
DLIDFIS
Junkyard electric fan
Weight reduction

All fairly cheap mods.

if you do drive the rim on the interstate, don't fly and be very weary of it. as for horsepower, what they said.

About the rim, a good rim repairer should be able to fix that pretty easy. If need be they can cut the offending piece of rim off, weld it up and machine it back to the way it was.

sorry wrong id at first. I don't have any other performance parts yet only lightening (taking parts off in case i spelled it wrong) might do direct fire.

if i were you, i'd save up another $80 or so and go buy a header. exhuast is the best way to get more hp, after a full exhaust i'd think about intake, i'd definitely wait for direct fire until you have more mods like full exhaust and aftermarket carb or something. if you NEED new ignition parts, just get the ngk stock replacements, they work great. taking off the a/c is easy and free hp. one thing i did was send my fuel injectors out to be rebuilt/balanced/blueprinted. it costed $75, but i think it was worth it. the engine runs smoother and stronger, especially in the midrange rpms. but it's a chore to get to the fuel injectors and the car will be out of commision for a week or so.
