Impatience will get you nowhere with these cars. I had to wait 2 months to get my rear Tokico blues. "Should" have only taken 2 weeks. If you want your car to look good, you'll have to spend the money. So you will have to be patient and save. Or just slap something together and write a list of excuses to tell people when they ask why it looks so shitty. Good Luck.

Lol. I am 20. You get what you pay for, that is all I say. With the ebay kits, I heard that the big manufacturers get rid of the molds and sell them dirt cheap because as time goes on, the molds get old and will not fit right. Guess who buys the molds?

Listen to Jeezus, he knows what he's talking about. As for kits, mariahmotorsports is perfect. You can guarantee that the pieces you buy from them will ACTUALLY fit really well like they say they will, and they are willing to help you out however they can, even comes with instructions. I went to the actual mariahmotorsports company in santa barbara last week and the people there are really nice, and really know what they are doing. I'm planning on purchasing the mode one widebody kit from them soon :]
EDIT: about what jeezus said, he is correct. i bought my kit, just front and rear, from Erebuni Corp, and man did it NOT FIT. Took hours of cutting and trimming and fitting to make it fit, and it still didn't come out perfect. Learn from my mistake :]

GOT WANKEL?
Just forget a body kit and get a cold air intake yo! Really, that should be that last of your upgrades. The beauty of a 1st gen is in the body lines. Priorities, priorities, priorities... In the end, its not my car,

Turbo widebody FB

Anything worth doing is usually $$$, unfortunately that's basically the way cars are. If you think it's alot of money just think of a widebody where you have to upgrade the drivetrain, brakes, wheels and tires, to make it REALLY worth it.
