Carburetor Bolt Down

I am swapping carburetors and noticed the one bolt was missing and I understand why. Does anybody have a way to place the bolt underneath the cables towards the rear of the Nikki carb?

Nikkis sit on studs in the manifold, then held down by nuts, no bolts.

I used a dizzy wrench to tighten that nut down on my car. The nut was missing (wonder why?) when I bought the car, so I replaced it with another that has a 13mm hex. The 1/2" end of the dizzy wrench fit snugly, but worked after I took a little excess off the outside..........
I used a flexible tool witha magnet to hold the nut, and a long screwdriver to start it on the stud. Yes, people were laughing at me as I attempted it, but they quit laughing when I got done.
Sometimes, ya just gotta get creative........

It's much easier without the rats nest, but it can be done. Set the carb in place, then , from the drivers side, lift the carb with your left hand, slide the nut in place, then lower the carb on the stud.

I bought a set of stubby ratcheting wenches, the 12 mm one works great on that nut.

I just use my finger to gently place the nut on the stud, then slowly start it to thread. It's much, much easier without the rat's nest. Here's a nice home-made tool for tightening the nut down, courtesy of Rx7Carl.
