If you just want a bigger carb the 48/51 IDA weber has much higher delivery capacity, you are obviously maxing your current carb the Weber will flow a lot more gas than the Mikuni can.
I have had stock and mild ports with Mikuni and love the carb but my 13b BP had to use a Weber 48 to get enough gas.

well, after my experience, dont waste money on holley, peices of ****.
baseplate broke, bought a new one, new base plate leaked from throttle shaft, long story shot, im on my 4th baseplate, still has the same problem, except now, mysteriously the needle and seat got jacked up.
im about to sell my 7 due to this and start over with another one.

i guess all the successfully running holley setups are fictional hell i run boost thru mine.
but anywho, a holley truly wouldn't be good in this situation. you need ultimate top end power. IDA FTW!
