i began this project... trying to get a secondary car.. as to not put the miles on my new zx2.... but i opened the hood of my newly acquired 7 and discovered that there is no fuel injection... what the hell is this.. a carburator??? Does anyone know alot about them? I have never even seen a carburator before... mine needs rebuilt i think... and i know i can get a kit for like 30 bux.. but... i dunno.. i can't even point it out... anyone with pictures and advice would be very appreciated...

Dude, if you have never seen one, then don't attempt to rebuild it yourself. Have it done professionally.

Have you even done a "Search" yet? Your questions are way too vague.

Can anyone say, "Post-Whoring?"

You got an RX-7 to avoid putting miles on the ZX2? Man your priorities are messed....

I like RX-7s and all but ZX2s are very nice cars and it'd be a shame to not drive it.

Where in NE Ohio are you? Out of curiosity... I'm into RX-7s and my best friend just got a ZX2 and we're finding that the little ****** is quite an amazing little car, and it puts my 1st-gens to shame.

As for the carby.... Most Japanese cars had carburetors up into the late 80's, Mazda was one of the first to make EFI widely available primarily starting with the '84 RX-7 GSL-SE.
