So you need to learn about the car first :-) Read the faqs and start searching the 1st gen forum to start with.

You haven't given us enough info to be a lot of help. What kind of carb or is it stock ? Any mods ? Are you getting spark ? Are the plugs getting fouled ? Whats the history ? What did you do lately to the car?

We aren't mind readers and we can't see your car from here, so you have to describe every last detail in order for us to help.

If you ask a general question you get a general answer, if you ask a specific question you get a more specific answer.

ok here goes it is a stock carb i recently took the top part off nd cleaned EVERYTHING cause im too poor to buy a rebuild kit when i did it stopped it from over flowing and started pooring out of the jets it never stops i do get spark i know that (shocked the hell out of me) but it will fill up the carb on the four barrel until it overflows to the top (BAD!) and when it finally does run gas literally sprays out the exhaust....if u want more info tell me i see wut i can do

Go here and download the carb manual. http://www.wankel.net/~krwright/cars/rx7/manuals.html

If you can't figure out what your problem is, at least you be able to give a better description of it.

I agree with Lovintha7, your float needle/seats are shot.
