this car needs SAVED bad

look at this... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...481496958&rd=1
is this why rotary cars have a bad rep, this "'82" needs to be taken from this person ( isnt there some sort of social services for cars?), he bought it to put the engine in a low rider?..... it makes me wanna cry, but thats how it goes, ignorant people and money dont mix

Wow, I'm not so sure that's even an 82...I own an 82, and my back end looks a shitload different than that...

Minor damage? The entire f@#$ing left fender is like, flat...it doesn't even match with the door...

But that is pretty sad, it's like an abused child...I just wanna take it in and give it all the TLC it needs, :-)

That is a 80 Limited Edition! I think. Can't tell what the badge says just to the right of the driver side door. Too bad its not in better shape but for that price it might be worth fixing up. Hope it goes to a good owner rather than parted out.

its a 79 limited edition, but you were close. At least the wheels are 79 LE that is. Too bad you can't see the gauge cluster, cause 79 LE's have a digital clock that would be a dead giveaway. Wish I lived closer, I'd buy it.

Luray, Va is not exactly the most cosmopolitan area. People around there change the VINs all the time. It looks like it has a large sunroof which would make it an 80, correct?

Something is up with the rear axle, either it's bent or the tires aren't bolted on.

I would bet the underside is rust city.

its what is left of an 1980 ls (leather sport) by looks. 79 rx7 le had differant wheels. the badge on the colum is a ls badge.I would bet it is several differant cars. kind of a mix and match deal (the vin # think) the numbers probly do not match any where on the car

That car might be unfixable. Well, unless you put $10000 into it it won't be worth it. Its really only good as a parts car. I dealt with something close to the same, just less body rust and a slightly better interior. I spent $3000 on my car. I didn't even have to do as much as that car is going to need. You would never have it looking absolutely great and it will never be worth the money. Being a 7 doesn't justify the cost it would take to fix it.

Mix and match for sure. LS had leather seats duh. This one has Vinyl. It's def an 80 from the rear bumper. I did notice the back of the car being jacked up too. Maybe all the tires are flat but he didn't want anyone to notice when he took the picture. I wouldn't buy it without further hands on inspection.

I like the shift lever in that car, I wonder if I can mod one to work in my car.
