Calipers hitting sway bar before steering stops... Opinions?

Hey guys,
I'm going to make this very clear. I have been having this issue for a while here but held back on posting it due to misconception with my problem. I want to make very clear that Respeeds big brake kit is an excellent product and if anything the reason for my issues is the aftermarket sway bar. I have talked to Billy before about the situation, and he is quick to respond and very helpful but now I took some pictures and was wondering if I could get some more opinions here.

I am using the racing beat sway bar, new control arms, just redid the whole steering (no an alignment hasn't been done yet, but there is no way the alignment is THIS far out...).

Looking for suggestions and wondering if maybe I am missing something obvious. I have had people suggest to me that maybe I just need the suspension loaded for clearance but it doesn't look like that will work because the caliper is still so close.

Lets hear some opinions, and once again the problem is most likely something I am over looking. Not the product. These pictures are all with the steering in the same position to give you an idea how soon it is hitting before the stops.

Just going to guess... as you said suspension not loaded and that you don't have your sway bar bolted down. From the pic it looks like that will give you the clearance as it looks as if your sway bar is 1/4 to 1/2" higher than it would be if conected.

Yea, I hope it's something easy like that but still it looks like the caliper body will hit the sway bar before the steering stop is anywhere close contacting.

Shorter end link hardware can move it down a bit, but may just end up that is hits the body.

I have the best solution.......Our Mark II brackets. They allow for mounting the calipers to the front or rear.

They are the new version that ship with all the new kits. I have pmed you the details.

1 or 1.5" Spacer Blocks. Fit under the strut cartridge. I couldn't turn my wheel at all, now running the 1" spacers I have full steering, and will not hit the sway bar unless I am flying in the air and going full lock left or right.

If you tighten the sway bar and then adjust the steering stop bolt you can keep it from hitting right?

Honestly I don't think so. If it was tightened down it will still be hitting the caliper but just a bit lower. The steering stop is a good inch and a half away and adjusting it in would greatly reduce my turning radius.

But Billy I will probally take you up on those new brackets, just going to wait a bit for the cash.

I suppose I'm going to have to go look at mine and take some pics. Mine isn't hitting, but I have the ST sway bar. Can't see that making any difference.

You know,I wondered about that myself when I installed my SelectMaz brake kit way back when.
They have the TII calipers mounted in the front too,and I thought it seemed a bit crowded up there. If I remember correctly,I just flipped and swapped the left and right mounts and put my calipers in the back. That way there is plenty of room up front and the brakeline can route through the line holder on the strut.

i had this exact same problem. i had a few options to fix it, but i chose to use the MARK II brackets. swapped my brackets, swapped the calipers to the other sides, and i was good to go.

with that being side you could also fix it with the spacers that go under the strut mount.

i too have the RB sway bar. i had a ST sway bar on the other chasis when i initially did this swap. i dont know if i had this same problem then or not.

Flip the brackets and mount the caliper on the rear side of the disc,

Any reason why you mounted the caliper in the front?

I did it that way because that's how they were supposed to be installed. I don't believe you can just simpily flip the brackets and swap sides to get them to work.
