Cable Clutch

Would switching my 83 gsl to a cable clutch be a good idea? my hydro system is a little rusty and in sad shape.

No, just replace the master, slave and clutch hose, should be good for another 10+ years.

I really want to say yes to your question out of sheer evilness, but yes follow what trochoid said, and if you want to get spiffy replace the hard line too for extra messure.

alright thanks guys i think that is what i will do

now i just need to get the bolt out of the slave that snapped off

why on earth would u want to do that? there's a good reason auto manufacturers went from cable to hydrolic clutches. it was better. just replace everything and flush out the steel line.

yep sure is. i just got it a few weeks ago, and before that it sat for about 5 years out in a field.

it makes me sad...
