A/c problem help!!
Hey guys, well i dig what you guys told me to put the mushroom thing with the solenoid and connect it directly to the a/c clutch cable. the mushroom thing works and it accelerates the engine when activated, no problem there. Now the problem comes when you turn of the a/c and the solenoid closes again, the pressure inside the mushroom keeps the car accelarated even after the a/c has been turned off. i can only releadse the pressure by disconnecting the hose. The solenoid i have it connected like this. look at attachment. what can i do? whats wrong, help!!

If the solenoid activates when the a/c is turned on and thereby suplies vacum to the "mushroom thing" I should think that when the a/c is turned off that the solenoid would have to vent the vacum in the "mushroom thing". Otherwise the vacum would remain on there. This is how the coasting valve works. One way the solenoid supplies vacum to the coasting valve and the other way it vents to the air through a filter.
