A/C Conversion and Recharge

Ok, so I bought one of those $30 A/C conversion kits to go from R-12 to R-134a, and I'm at a standstill, because I can't find the stupid high and low pressure fittings so I can put the adapters on them. Does anybody know where they are, or has anyone done this conversion, and could give me some assistance? Thanks

Okay, I must be an idiot. I searched the site and I can't find the answer to the question originally posted here. I'm trying to convert my R-12 to R-134a and my tech manual doesn't even mention air conditioning in it. I recharged the system on my Jeep, it was easy. My '84 GS is a little harder to figure out. Could someone tell me where I can find out where the high and low pressure fittings are? Thanks

Stick with R12: works better.

They are on the AC compressor..

I originally used 134A on mine but it did not work very well. I then changed to a product called Freeze 12.
