I also have OEM mats as well with the rx7 logo on them. I ended up getting a light beige set that would go over them. This allows me not ot have to forewarn any gorls that ride with me.

Anthrax...I can relate there are many girls that just don't get it!

 

But the only reason she gets mad is because she remembers every time with out me having to remind her, but I remind her every time... even though I know she remembers...

 

On colors that go with the brown interior, I agree that Anthrax's Parsimmon red is real nice and a bit unusual. The more traditional colors are light beige, my favorite:

But the best color to repaint is always the stock color and if your gold/brown paint is original, I'd try to match it, that's a great color with the brown interior. Send some photos!

P.S., I have the original RX7 logo floor mats in both my brown and red interiors, I agree they are a nice touch!

 

brown paint, brown interior and original floor mats here as well. i love every bit of it. there was a timw when i had considered changing colors, but when i get my car painted, it will likely be the same stock brown, but i may go with a slightly richer brown if i can find a nice metallic or pearl.

Man I thought that these got deleted but just found them tonight....I love brown interior...is that a GSL-SE badge...oh yeah I think it is!

The colour is quite interseting, it acts almost like an irridessent paint in that the colour will appear to look different either more orange, or more red to brown depending the souroundings and ambaint light

 

OK You guys are making me miss my 7. It is 5 hours away from me a I miss her and her brown interior!

By the way I love my brown on brown car. Sorry no interior pics...

 

woohooo! went to the local pull-n-save today, and they had a brown/brown '85 and the interior was mostly there and partially better than mine. Can't wait to start merging this new stuff into my car! (I'm getting annoyed at how much $$$ I'm giving to delivery services).

the only reason i dont like the brown and red interiors is they seem to fade and change colors unlike the grey/black, some of those pics i can see 7 different shades of brown!

 

The red interior is real bad for fade that is for sure
