Bridge Ported Guys!

Hey, just wondering what ignition setup everyone is running w/ a Bridge Port. I just recently bought a Jacobs FC1000 and a 2nd Gen leading coil to replace me stock ignition. BTW I have a 1/2 bridge port w/ RB intake, RB exhaust, etc.
So what ignition are you guys running and what seems to be the best combination for a Bridge Ported motor??

I use MSD 6al rev limiter set to 9400rpms. Two MSD Blaster 2 coils. I do not use the direct fire wiring option, I run all coils and plug wires off the distributor. Direct fire is not as efficient above 8000rpms is why.

28.5* total advance on leading, trailing 10* back.

alright cool, thanks guys. Ya my power seems to drop off after 8500 rpm. Maybe this is b/c my carb running soooo rich and the stock ignition? DriveFast7, does yours pull strong all the way to 9400?

You can run a fuel only computer and keep the dizzy but if you're doing it properly might as well get fuel&ignition computer. I would reccomend 50mm throttle bodies, I have these on both of my PP motors and they are great.

Lightbulb

Yeah, it makes peah hp @ 9400, pulls nice and strong to there.

I'd get any bugs worked out of the car and put it on a dyno. I spent $250 dynoing mine and it was extremely enlightening how carb and timing changes helped the HP and torque curve. Worth every penny. And I got to see first hand how a jet change affects the air/fuel curve, and have good idea how to jet for air density / temp changes.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes they will replace the carb. Drivabilty is greatly improved with injection compared to carby.Mine are EFI Hardware throttle bodies. I'll see if I can find a link for you.
