brake light on dash?

If it's not the brake fluid, your break light switch or your light bolts, check your relay. Sometimes they lose contact and the light on the dash comes on and back lights don't come on.

check your rear break bulbs also there is a float in the reservoire that is magnetic, clean it.
Had the same problem with a car i'm restoring and it was the float. Cleaned it, put it back in, and that was it.

I'd point to rear bulbs. The light has 4 different functions, and any of the following will set it off:
Low fluid (magnetic float with reed switch)
Proportioning valve is shuttled (leak in front or rear hydraulic circuit)
E-brake is up
One of your rear light bulbs is blown

We are talking about the warning light that says "Brake", right. Not the one that says "Stop Lamp". Were are mixing their functions together. The stop lamp warning is for bad bulbs and proportioning valve. Brake is for fluid level and E-brake.
