Makenzie: My best friend just had his SE painted black. The car runs perfectly and will even still pass emissions. The only thing that needs fixing that is of any concern is that the 6 ports are stuck. Big deal, thats easy to fix. He'll sell the car for around that price since he's getting married in a few weeks. Come on down to Houston. If I were to guess I'd say you were somewhere around Amarillo. My next guess would be south near Tech.

I forgot to add that I converted mine to MSD direct fire. It was a simple job and the car runs so much better. I am using 2nd gen leading coils with no resistor. It works great.

Ok, here's a simple DLIDFIS explanation. One more ignitor, one more coil, some wiring and a bit of work, and you're done.

I own a GSL (loaded). It has LSD also. I've read somewhere in this forum that the GSL LSD's were a bit tougher than the SE's. I would have thought they were both the same unit but apparently are not. The discs are definately smaller. However I can tell you that I do not experience any braking problems 'fade' during spirited driving ( I have not tried a track but have a lot of experience on windy backroads..)

Will the front brake rotors mount on the rear?
the upside to a GS is that it's light. They have drum brake rears with no LSD.
