blower motor only works on medium and high

Ok, on my 83 GS the blower motor won't work on low, nothing happens when you turn the **** to that position. I wouldnt really be concerned with it at this point seeing as the car still doesn't run right, but my parts car is going in a week or so and i wanna be able to fix all teh little things on the GS before the Le gets hauled off. Any thoughts?

I kinda had the same problem, but on low it barely worked and clicked really loud. I dropped the blower motor out out, and clean it up. Now it works like a charm!

Common problem. If it isn't the blower motor itself then it's the dial switch. Try changing that first.

Same problem on my 82 GSL. Only runs on high. I regulate the temp with the sliders and don't worry about it.

My 83 doesn't work at all. Found a burned out fuse mount and repaced that, then it whined a little before it stopped again. Guess I gotta pull the fan and do something: what's the easiest way?
