A few days ago, I lost clutch pressure and had to pump my *** back home... But it's real weird, because when I let it sit at the bottom of my driveway for a couple of hours, all the pressure came back. So I was thinking maybe too much air and bled the system--I used up almost 2 cans of DOT3 brake fluid... I KEEP getting more air... Somewhere, there is air coming in, but where?!
Busted slave? Master?

The only rubber line is from the metal line to the slave, right? That is not cracked... I'm thinking the slave or master is bad... Not sure how to tell which is bad...
should be the slave, it is a good idea to replace both at the same time. Unless you are broke, go replacment, if broke, rebuild. Be aware, you will probably do it again in a year if you rebuild.
mine lost pressure at times too, was a pin hole in the rubber hose, also rebuit the slave, cost 20 bucks total, dont recall putting in that much fluid thou. carefully hone out the slave innards,,,good luck

Master cylinder is failing. They fail intermittently at first, and gradually get worse until you're on the Full Mayday Program.
The "still has air in it" is another clue. It's sucking air through the rear seal.
For final confirmation, look under the dash at the back of the clutch master cylinder. I bet you there is a big ol' stain of brake fluid drooling down the firewall.
