No, I have a water temp guage coming off the block and water is between 180 and 200 with 360 whp on the track in the summer. This is with a stock FB radiator I used to have a FC with a FMIC that would overheat in the GA summers in stop and go driving. The FMIC blocked the oil cooler on the FC which I think was part of the problem.

My unscientific opinion is that you will get better flow this way than over the oil cooler as air is forced through the oil cooler and the intercooler on its way through the radiator. In fron of the oil cooler, air will follow the path of least resistance and bypass the oilcooler and intercooler causing heat to rise.

i've had the same experience. blocking the oil cooler = 250F+ oil temps = high coolant temps.

i'm not sure why putting the IC in front of the oil cooler is so bad, but putting it in front of the radiator doesn't matter much, but it seems to be the case.
