What's the best product to clean the inside of an air-to-oil cooler?

Best? I'd say have it ultrasonically cleaned by a professional. We have a parts washer at work Ive used in the past. I put the spigot in the cooler and flush it in both directions. It uses a saftey solvent of some sort.

hmm Ok. I wonder if that's expensive. I was more referring to an off the shelf product I can get and use meself

3m wax and grease remover would probably work well.

I used gasoline to clean my oil coolern and my intercooler.

worked very well.

Use a good concentrated carb cleaner. You'll find it in a gallon can and it'll make aprox 10 gallons. That with some diesel/mineral spirits. After that Try to clean it out good with a good carb cleaner and let it hang to dry. I'd put a lil oil in it and swish it around to see if theres anything in it still. We're lucky they're aluminum, amagine copper or steel... blah.
