Angry behing the dash wiring problems

I am trying to decide if I need to remove my dash to get at all the wires that got to my temp. gauge and instrument panel lights. At first I thought is would make it easier to get at. But after reading the post and what you have to do to get the dash off I might be making it worse. What has worked for you?

just pull out the instrument pannel. I'm assuming one or more of your guages isn't working. once you have the instrument pannel out, just clean up the connections on the back of the instrument pannel. corrosion got mine pretty bad.

FYI- to remove guage cluster - remove screws from front ( the two on the top, and then there are clips that hold it in on the bottom - just pull it straight out), and there are two more underneath... use a flashlight, and you will find them.
