Before I get my rear axle bearings pressed on...

I'm about to get my new rear axle bearings pressed on my SE rear end, but I can't remember the order of the parts. If I'm correct, there is the bearing collar, a spacer, the brake rotor shield, and the triangular shaped bracket piece that bolts to the axle housings an holds it all on. It's pretty obvious that I would slide the bracket on and then the rotor shield. But what order to the bearing, collar, and spacer get pressed on? Also, am I missing any other parts? Thanks.

Order

Triangle bolt retainer.
Brake backing.
Spacer.
Bearing.
Retainer collar.

thats all the parts and the order.

The retaining collar has a tapered outside edge on one side, and the spacer has one on one of its inside edges. Does it matter which way they are installed? It seems to me that the tapered edge of the collar should face the diff, but it doesn't look like it would matter which way the spacer is installed...?

I guess only SE's have this spacer. Never seen one on my cars. I would guess that the chamfer on the spacer goes towards the outside of the axle to match the contour where the axle meets the flange. Flat edge of the collar goes up against the bearing. The taper is so it goes past the seal nicely without damaging it like a sharp edge would.

The spacers are on the drum rear-ends from 83-85 at least. I've never had to replace bearings in a disc setup oddly enough so I won't say they are on all the cars. The taper on the collar does go toward the diff. The taper on the spacer I am unsure of.
