okay, went out and bought a 5" monster tach by autometer with shift lite.. now I need to know how to hook it up.
i've got an 1983 Mazda Rx-7 GS, I've seen a couple people with these in there car, and if someone could help me out I would really apprecaite it.
thanks for the help.
God bless
John Wollam.

you have to connect to trailing ignition, since that's what controls the tach

Hook the tach signal wire to the negative side of the trailing coil, and set the tach as a 4 cylinder.

stinkfist...
why in the hell would I buy a civic? just because I look doing stuff with my car? it already goes fast enough, it's not like I need something that will go 200 mph, I'll just kill myself in it.. but I'm in a car club with some friends, and alot of them have neon, so I want to get some for my car. no reason to be an *** about it...

I'm with Stinkfist on this one. A monster tack is bad enough...

Trailing should be nearest the firewall. The negative terminal is the one with the slide on connector.

Whoa... that's some ruthless **** man. You'd better be tough to pull off a big white uni wiper on a first gen. Yuck!

hey that looks like my first gen in the back.without the big ****** wiper though.what is that a 32"?need to get mine painted soon.gonna maybe put neons on mine.like stuff like that, like bad *** systems.but if you roll up next to me for a race with a bad *** system then ill go the distance and throw a fat chick in my hatch to make up for all the weight it adds.anyway.neons are light and look pretty cool.getting the seven repainted black.all black.some neons will help brighten it up.heres it before the primer and new alum wing.

okay,
so you found a picture of my car (swear to god)
the one wiper thing was a joke, but I did have the ruthless on for a little bit. and the wiper was the stock 16" wiper (on my rx-7)
even though my car is primer black and waiting for warmer weather to finish all the body work before it gets painted.
that was kind of weird seeing my car posted, and it wasn't me that did it
oh well, I like my car how it is, it has to please me, and not you guys. I like having fun with my car.. it goes fast enough as is.. (no I'm not saying it's the fastest one on here. more likely one of the slower ones)
but I'm going through a ricey stage right now.. sooner or later I'll get out of it. or I'll buy a honda. it doesn't matter it still romps on honda's & Acura's at the line.. and all they see is tail lights.
God Bless.
John W.
oh ya' I bought my neon kit, waiting for it to get shipped in.
it's a turquoise kit by street glow, (Gold Series)
damn thing was expencive. 240$
anyways.
later and thanks for the flame...
k bye.
oh ya' I do actually live in a pretty tough neighborhood, and I can "pull off" being ruthess.
but we changed the name to Team Street effectz, lot better, cops like it more also.
late
