Australians, please read!

Ok, not the first time I've posted this, but I'll try again. I'm desperately looking for the BEIGE PLAID seats found in 79-80 series 1's. I need either the seat or access to the material. This color wasnt available in North America, so Mazda is of no help to me on this. Could someone maybe look into if Mazda has this material available in Australia? I only need the material. but if someone has one of these seats in decent condition, I would gladly buy it. I only need one seat, but I'll buy two if I have to. Help me guys . Thanks.

Alright mate, go to www.philsrotarys.com and look up their contact info. They're one of my local rotary shops and I'm pretty sure they can get almost any part for any Mazda rotary ever made. If these parts are available in Australia then these guys can get it for you. They might even have some second hand ones in stock.

I think this is the 3rd time ive seen this post? Im trying to think what exactly you want???? Only seats I ever seen in the "Series 1" Rx7's (thats the models with the smaller rear tail lights) are Black Vinyl looking seats. Cant an Apholsterer find the material to redo your seats??? Phills Rotarys charges a fortune btw....I bet youll be able to get a whole nother Car for the price of 2 seats from them & shipped there.

I think he has a RHD Savanna and needs seats like in this picture. Hopefully I'm thinking of the right person

You're thinking of the right person... those are the seats I'm looking for. In fact, that's the exact same car. Thanks Felix .

Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a specific plaid?? This car is imaculate and (appart from one damn seat) is in perfect condition. There's no way I'm gonna settle for something "close". If I have to pay a fortune to get nice original seats, so be it. I've actually found someone who could possibly weave some custom fabric for it... I bet that would be more than whatever Philsrotarys would charge .
