I have the same intake with a Weber 45 DCOE carb. I bought a cable bracket that mounts to the four small bolts under the float bowl (I think I got it at racetep.com). The bracket came with a cable clamp that fit through the stock hole in the Weber throttle arm. This made mounting any cable very simple. For the actual cable, I just used a rear brake cable from one of my old motorcycles.

How i fixed this prob on my car was to get a go-kart throttle cable, had the correct end for the gas pedal and was a snap, ran the new cable through the fire wall and used a set screw on the carb. The choke cable was more of a problem, ended up using a bicycle brake cable for that this was all for a 45 DCOE with the lake cities style manifold
