ATF treatment
Did the atf treatment on my right hand drive that's been sitting since Oct 95 on Sunday night. Hooked up coils this morning and tried to start it. Can't believe it started on first crank. Engine smoked like hell for 10 min or so. Engine sounds like i've been driving it everyday.. Thanks for all the help on the atf treatment.. Awsome forum!!!

Yeah, this place kicks ****! I bought my 85 GS back in Feb and at the time it ran just okay but now it runs GREAT! I credit this forum for making it all happen. Wish I knew about the atf treatment back in 83 when I had my Cosmo. I ended up rebuilding the carbon-locked engine but in retrospect all it probably needed was a little atf. Oh well.....
