The moral here is that just because washers or ATF may be free or plentiful in your area, it's no excuse to break your engine just because it might need a rebuild.

Apparently you can't read. I use ATF to break the engines free because if they're jammed really good (as in, they don't have a carb bolt stuck in them) they're harder to get out when they're taken apart. I have one housing with a rotor still stuck in it.... I even threw it in the 10-ton for kicks but that sumbitch is stuck solid.
