What?

Forced induction for $3K would be easy to do.

Estimated prices:

FMU $200
Fuel pump $200
Turbo $500
Mainfold $300
Exh $300
Wastegate $300
BOV $50
misc fittings and clamps $200
total $2050

good for 5psi - very basic setup.

You might get these parts cheaper or more expensive.

I was taking into account the fact that he seemed to indicate that he was new to the turbo and possibly car modification scene. Also I tend to think in Canadian, which is more expensive for most car things. Also I was counting tuning time and a proper fuel set-up (EFI), blowthrough would be a good option for cheaper. I stand by my estimate.
