Arm rest?

Does anyone have an arm rest for an '83 GSL that is in need of one.

I currently don't have one at all. My interior is black and yellow. So, If someone has one that is willing to sell theirs. (preferrably in good shape and in black or grey).

I checked on mazdatrix (they aren't available anymore) and junk yards but have come up empty handed.

I was going to post this in the wanted section, but I see very little traffic go through there and seeing how this is 1st gen part. I though I would ask my 1st gen sisters and brothers for help.

If you have one for sell let me know how much you want for it.

Oops. I guess I wasn't too clear. I'm looking for the center console arm rest.

I've one, but I put a shiny metal hinge in it (stock plastic was broken and it was a beater car, so exposed hardware was acceptable)

The armrest in my '82 S is the driver's side seatbelt latch... just prop the elbow on it and the hand on the shifter.. magic "floating" armrest.. LOL

Redwood thanks that would very much appreciated.

Mantis are you selling it? Got a picture?

*laughs at White84SE* I don't think I need a magic floating arm rest.

Mark thanks for the pics, just one quick question. Do you know if the controls of the '83 GSL swap into the place of the open tray that is on the one you have?

Controls = Power windows, cruise, small open tray, rear wiper.

Thanks

Mantis do you have any pics of yours? Also thanks for checking on the price.

Mark thanks for looking for me.

I just want to make sure that it can take the insert, or it will be useless to me. Also, I can't really tell the condition of the arm rest in your pics. What rating would you give them on a scale of 1 to 10?

My '83 armrest is burgundy, similar to the one I showed in the 'interior mods' pic only with a shiny chromed hinge showing from the back. The hinge is screwed inside the armrest so you only see the hinge portion, not the flaps, but it's still ghetto
