apex seals

Does anyone know of a place to get new apex seals? I'm lookin at atkins rotary and mazdatrix, they sell for about 40 each, which is about dealer cost, I guess.
Is there a cheaper alternative?

Mazdamotorsports.com Do 2 autocrosses per year and get dirt cheap factory parts shipped direct to you.

Dirt cheap huh? whats an example of Dirt cheap? I was wondering is it autcross only or drag racing as well? Don't think I'd be able to compete in autox....

But Robert, I'm probably gonna be looking for some seals as well... for a 12a, ported, headers, carb, blah blah.... No turbo yet.

I wouldn't say they are dirt cheap, just discounted - read cheaper than anywhere else for stock parts. Any type of racing will get you into the program, but you gotta send in the results and it's harder to prove you were driving the car at a drag than at a solo.

I wanna try and autocross at least to be able to see what theyve got, lol. Ive wanted to try, and I figure Ill do it a couple times to get into their program and then see what its all about. Fun, Ill stay. No fun, nothing cool, Im out . I just need to learn more about the autocrossing and when they are locally and stuff.

About 40% off list for stock parts is pretty dirt cheap to me. Besides where else are going to buy apex seals?

Want to autocross? check out http://www.scca.org/amateur/solo2/index.html

Like I said just run 2 events (doesn't matter what place you came in), send the results and you're in. Some autocross clubs post the results on the web. You can just email the link to Mazdamotorsports and they'll accept that too. Go to www.mazdamotorsports.com
for more info.
