Dang Sterling, you had to have this when my car's already away for the winter! I wrote it down somewhere, I'll see if I can find it.

I'm not sure if internet bad-guys can do things to you with your VIN, but just in case, you should PM the # instead of posting it.
Maybe I'm paranoid. But anything that could possibly further complicate paperwork at the DMV scares the CRAP outta me!

Mines parked for winter, but I'd like to verify that I am the 3rd owner, etc. what all shows up when you run the VIN, or is it just write-offs, damage, claims etc? I hope to get the VIN quickly

For some cars they can cut a key for the car from your VIN. If they can get your address, they can just show up at your house and drive off with your car.
(Not that I've ever heard of it happening.)

Yeah, that's what I figured would be the WCS. The DMV scenerio is the least of the worries, but certainly bad enough.

Keys for RRTECs cars should get to me by next week sometime. I dunno- some guy who calls himself "The Cutter Man" is cutting my keys for RRTECs cars for like 20 bucks a pop.

Soooo..
...anyone else need a vin check? Maybe someone with a mint black 85 SE?
