I broke the gears in the rear end doing a accidental drop trying to back out of a situation, all I heard was clunk clunk clunk clunk and my car wasn’t going anywhere.

Locked the doors, guy kicks my car, I call the cops, push the car to the side and ended up paying close to $800 for damages and labor.

DON’T DROP IT IN REVERSE…EVER

Very thick, won't crack or break from something so stupid. Might want to start the search over if you dont have a 85 Gsl-SE!

i dont think that filter would have stood a chance either lol

and on second thought i think i would rather the filter crush than the pedestal crack, or the bolts pull out.

Mine looked the same, I blew the 24 year old line to the front mount oil cooler.

For me it was a day and a large bottle of simple green. I still find greasy spots every once in a while.

I did that in my '82, on the highway. 200 km from anywhere.

That towing bill wasn't fun, let me tell you.

I was REALLY glad it was just idling in the driveway when it happened. No damage to anything but the lines.
